About the position

  • Engage in community service and college activities as part of collegial participation.
  • Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere and be available to students during office hours.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in the teaching discipline or a High School Diploma with 3 years of active law enforcement experience.
  • Strong commitment to quality teaching and student success.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Teaching experience in a community college setting.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL).
