Adjunct Faculty, Mental Health Nursing Clinical Instructor

About the position

Olivet Nazarene University Department of Nursing is seeking an adjunct nursing faculty member to provide clinical instruction in the undergraduate nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Help with return demonstrations of skills at the beginning of the semester.
• Supervise students in clinical.
• Grade weekly assignments such as journals and care plans.
• Evaluate each student each day on department forms.
• Meet with students at the end of their rotation to give them a final evaluation.
• Maintain ongoing communication with level coordinator and didactic professor.

Requirements

• A lifestyle in agreement with the ONU Statement of Mission, Faith, and Lifestyle Covenant.
• At least five years of experience in the nursing field.
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
