About the position

Indiana Tech is seeking Adjunct Faculty in our Fort Wayne area locations for a variety of classes. Adjunct faculty will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in psychology and social sciences. Indiana Tech is accepting applications for Adjunct Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences for the psychology program.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses as defined by course and learning objectives established through the college and defined in teaching letter of agreement.
  • Teaching undergraduate courses in psychology and social science related courses.
  • Courses may include; Introduction to Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Theories of Counseling, Aging, Group Dynamics, and other related courses.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master's degree in psychology or closely related field.
  • 18 graduate grade hours in the teaching subject area.
  • Professional experience in psychology or closely related field required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Demonstrated evidence of strong written and oral communication.
  • Ability to use technology effectively in all aspects of their work, including teaching.

Nice-to-haves

  • Teaching Experience (online and face-to-face) Preferred.
  • Student-centered teaching approaches.
  • College-level teaching experience, preferred.
  • Experience with a Learning Management System, preferred.
