About the position
This position will be responsible for teaching Dental Assisting classes at North Platte Community College. The college is looking for someone to deliver engaging curriculum with high standards of excellence and someone that will be looking for innovative ways to offer courses. Courses are taught on-campus in North Platte and during the daytime. Teaching opportunities will begin August 22, 2022.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a Health or Education related field.
- 4 years full-time occupational experience as a dental assistant, including at least 2 years as a chairside assistant.
- Experience must have been within the last 5 years if not currently teaching in an ADA CODA accredited dental assisting program.
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).
- Graduate of ADA CODA Accredited Dental Assisting Program.
- Current CPR for Healthcare Provider.
- Current immunizations for clinical participation.
- Ability to meet the technical standards for the program.
