Responsibilities

• Providing adapted physical education services to students (K-12) including assessment, evaluation, and consultation
• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team in developing and adapting core curriculum
• Participating in IEPs with school districts and other professionals, including preparing written reports and generating goals that align with common core standards
• Overseeing the development of staff

Requirements

• Valid California APE Added Authorization
• APE Specialist Credential
• APE Emphasis Credential

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with students who have movement challenges and complex communication needs
