We currently have an opportunity for an Actuarial Support Specialist to join our Corporate Actuarial team in our Plymouth, MN or Boston, MA office on a hybrid schedule. This role is responsible for providing strong support to the actuarial function through data gathering, data analysis, and data presentation across various databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2-5 years of related experience in data collection and data analysis is essential.
• Position is not pursuing an actuarial designation, but an incumbent may have a few exams.

Nice To Haves

• General insurance knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides strong quantitative support in product development, financial analysis, management reporting, actuarial research, and applying statistical concepts.
• Adept in computer technology, software tools and working with large data sets.
• Runs, maintains, and enhances existing processes.
• Collects, captures, and organizes data and other information from existing sources.
• Manages, maintains, and analyzes data for accuracy.
• Identifies and corrects data issues.
• Generates reports and ad hoc exhibits as needed.
