Your ability to communicate actuarial results to cross-functional teams will be crucial, as you will document the actuarial analysis performed and ensure clarity in your findings. Responsibilities
- Analyze annuity and life insurance products.
- Participate in the development and pricing of new products.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Hedge investments and produce analyses for senior leaders.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and memorandums.

- Manage product actions and respond to external auditor requests.
- Conduct experience studies and assist in developing pricing assumptions.
- Design and develop sophisticated modeling techniques in actuarial software.
- Communicate actuarial results to cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Superior communication, programming, and math skills.
- Ability to translate results into understandable terms.
- Experience using Excel, VBA, and/or other programming languages.
- A 4-year degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Completion of 1-2 SOA exams.
- Leadership experience is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous actuarial internship experience.
- Successful completion of more than one SOA exam.
- Programming or database management experience.
