The Activity Director will transform lives through engagement by developing innovative programs, fostering community connections, empowering the team, providing a personalized touch to resident welcomes, coordinating events, and managing resources within budget.

Requirements

• Willingness to obtain Company-sponsored Activity Director certification as required.
• Demonstrated love for working with seniors, and a zest for life.
• Skilled in both written and oral communication with diverse audiences.
• A valid driver’s license; must undergo background and motor vehicle checks.
• Residency within the State that this Community/Location operates in is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute a diverse schedule of meaningful activities and events that resonate with residents.
• Prepare and distribute monthly newsletters and calendars; arrange for community groups to visit.
• Educate, train, and inspire team members to foster meaningful connections and a strong community.
• Compile biographies on each new resident, ensuring a warm and customized welcome to the Community.
• Create ambiance by decorating common areas for special events and holidays.
• Maintain inventory and manage budget, aligning with the community’s goals and standards.
