About the position
The Activities Director at Chateau of Batesville is responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing engaging activities for residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for residents through recreational activities, community integration, and fostering positive relationships within the community.
Responsibilities
- Plans, schedules, and implements activities for a monthly newsletter calendar.
- Involves residents in planning recreation objectives and goals.
- Integrates residents with the community through facility activities and outings.
- Creates a strong positive image and establishes good relationships within the community, including press relations and promotional activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field.
- Certification as an Activity Professional preferred.
- Two years of activities management experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving history background check.
