About the position

The Activities Director at Perrysburg Healthcare & Rehabilitation is responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities for residents, fostering a positive environment, and being an integral part of the interdisciplinary team. This full-time role emphasizes creativity, motivation, and the ability to adapt activities to meet the needs of residents, particularly in behavioral health and long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a community activities calendar.
• Implement the activities calendar and ensure participation.
• Motivate residents and staff through engaging activities.
• Adapt activities to meet the needs of residents in various situations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance resident engagement.
• Document activities and ensure compliance with State and Federal Guidelines.

Requirements

• Prior experience as an Activities Director.
• Certified Activities Director Certification, CTRS, or Occupational Therapist License.
• Knowledge of documentation and State and Federal Guidelines.
• Positive and upbeat attitude.
• Ability to adapt activities to various situations.
