About the position

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and complying with regulations. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and audits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all day to day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist with the annual budget, providing forecasts and variance analysis to support financial planning.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist the CFO with periodic financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
  • Assist with the annual audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and current.
  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (CMIC a Plus) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
