Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Code and reconcile credit card statements
- Conduct periodic reconciliations of expense accounts to ensure their accuracy
- Ensure proper audit trail is in place
- Code, verify and process incoming vendor invoices via 3 way matching
- Reconcile vendor accounts
- Resolve discrepancies
- Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary
- Work on special projects as required
Requirements
- 1-2 years related accounting experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Ability to set up and maintain an orderly accounting filing system, both paper and electronic
- High level of attention to detail
