About the position

The Accounting Clerk position at Cushman & Wakefield Commercial Property Southwest Florida is an entry-level role focused on performing clerical duties and ensuring the accuracy of financial records within a fast-paced commercial real estate environment. Responsibilities

• Posting and tracking deposits made to property level accounts
• Assist in the creation of monthly reports to property owners
• Assist in the onboarding of new accounts; including transferring services
• Filing and retrieval of accounting documents
• Monthly statement processing (Print, fold, stuff and mail)
• Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Answering phones
• Processing mail
• Answering tenant inquiries
• Apply and track postage to outgoing mail
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in data entry
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions and meet mandatory deadlines
• Good team player
• Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of AppFolio & Yardi property manager software is a plus
• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable is a plus
