About the position

DMV Restorations, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Clerk/Billing Specialist to manage various financial tasks that ensure the company's revenue is maintained. This role involves processing incoming payments, issuing necessary paperwork, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort incoming payments with attention to credibility.
• Manage the status of accounts and balances, identifying inconsistencies.
• Issue and post bills, receipts, and invoices.
• Check the validity of debit accounts.
• Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments.
• Ensure all clients are informed about their outstanding debts and deadlines.
• Write detailed reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data.
• Respond to customer questions and resolve billing issues, including investigating reasons for delinquency.
• Collect client payments in accordance with payment due dates.
• Submit delinquent accounts to attorney or outside agency for collection.
• File and archive statement-related materials daily, including organizing, scanning, and maintaining archived files.
• Prepare reports in QuickBooks (online version).

Requirements

• Proven experience as a billing specialist with invoicing and collections experience.
• At least 2+ years of QuickBooks (Online) experience.
• Collections experience with a drive to secure debt from clients/customers.
• High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.

Nice-to-haves

• Vendor platform experience such as Nexus, Ops Merchant, NetVendor, RealPage, VendorCafe, etc.
