About the position
The Accounting Analyst role is designed to support the accounting and finance team at ISS by providing accounting and operational expertise. The position aims to assist the organization in achieving its growth, profitability, and quality objectives while fostering personal skill development and collaboration within the finance team.
Responsibilities
- Support Corporate Controller with all aspects of month end close and reviews
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries by maintaining records and files, reconciling accounts
- Assist in the Accounting Fixed Assets process, ensuring timely processing of additions, disposals, depreciation, reconciliations, and any necessary analysis
- Prepare various financial reports for management, review data with operators, and address research questions regarding those reports
- Assist with the annual external audit by completing requested materials and preparing assigned schedules for the annual and interim audit
- Protect the organization's values by maintaining confidentiality of information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and deadline-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to command credibility and influence others
- PC literate with an understanding of technology as a tool.
