Requirements
- Excellent understanding of all components of Accounting including ERP systems, databases and metrics
- Ability to be proactive, resourceful, efficient, and work in a hands-on fluid growth environment
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at all levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of industry related accounting experience
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables and V-lookups)
Responsibilities
- Assist with Monthly and Year-end accounting close.
- Prepare monthly journal entries of prepaids and accruals.
- Maintain accurate and organized audit trail of all month-end related tasks for the company.
- Daily banking reconciliations and credit card transaction review for all restaurant locations.
- Maintain detailed reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
- Review and audit accuracy coding of all general ledger coded expenses with the operations team.
- Assist with maintaining accurate files for the accounting department.
- Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions on a regular basis.
- Assist in Quarterly & Annual 3rd party CPA reviews.
- Supervise Accounting Staff members as assigned.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned by company senior leadership.
