Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of all components of Accounting including ERP systems, databases and metrics
  • Ability to be proactive, resourceful, efficient, and work in a hands-on fluid growth environment
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of industry related accounting experience
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables and V-lookups)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Monthly and Year-end accounting close.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries of prepaids and accruals.
  • Maintain accurate and organized audit trail of all month-end related tasks for the company.
  • Daily banking reconciliations and credit card transaction review for all restaurant locations.
  • Maintain detailed reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
  • Review and audit accuracy coding of all general ledger coded expenses with the operations team.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate files for the accounting department.
  • Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions on a regular basis.
  • Assist in Quarterly & Annual 3rd party CPA reviews.
  • Supervise Accounting Staff members as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned by company senior leadership.
