About The Position
Sodexo is seeking an Accountant within Segment Support for Campus in Cheektowaga, NY. This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in office upon completion of training. The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver who thrives on challenges and enjoys a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent experience
- Skill sets in Microsoft Office software, including advanced Excel.
- Excellent communications and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment to ensure department deadlines are met.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Ensure integrity of business line internal financial reporting & prepare client income statements & billings
- Apply GAAP & objective accounting judgement to knowledge of contractual agreements & company policy.
- Manage daily phone calls and emails to assist operators with financial acumen
- Work proactively to prevent problems, and identify and implement innovative solutions
- Foster cooperation toward achieving department and organizational goals
- Work on contract amendment review including billing and system updates
- Reconcile, review, and validate Blackline reconciliations and supporting documentation
