Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the entire accounting process including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
• Use QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks and activities
• Regularly monitor all accounting data and prepare accurate financial statements
• Utilize Sage 300 software for efficient and effective financial management and reporting
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the organization's budget using budgeting skills
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Demonstrable experience in budgeting and financial forecasting
• Proficiency in using accounting software, specifically QuickBooks and Sage 300
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in financial reporting, tax preparation, and auditing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to ethical accounting practices
