About the position

Pinnacle Precast is currently in search of an Accountant/Office Administrator to join their team in Lugoff, SC. The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and exposure to accounting practices and procedures. Office Administration and/or HR experience is a plus. The Accountant/Office Administrator will be the main contact for construction related accounting items and Office Administrator functions. Office Administrator functions include, but are not limited to, assisting with human resource duties such as processing new hire paperwork and performing administrative and clerical support tasks. Works mostly independently on all office related items for the company.

Responsibilities

  • General Accounting/Office Duties
  • Sorting, matching, coding, and scanning invoices
  • Processing invoices in accounting software (Vista & Titan)
  • Process weekly check runs
  • Process all customer billings and follow up to ensure payment
  • Work with management and corporate on month end financial statements
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Backup for opening & sorting daily mail
  • Assist with Answering phones, taking messages, and transferring calls
  • New Hire Orientation/Paperwork
  • Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires
  • Schedule pre-employment drug screens
  • Complete all new hire paperwork
  • Process new hires through E-Verify
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Exposure to accounting practices and procedures
