About the position

Intapp is expanding the sales organization with an Account Manager within Financial Services - Private Capital Markets vertical. This individual should be viewed by customers as a credible executive-level advisor and consultant as well as a business development executive. They will be responsible for both retention and identifying opportunities for new business within our existing customer base within a defined territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success as well as experience in the private capital markets is highly valued. In addition, you would collaborate across different teams within the Intapp community as you work with our Mid-Market clients.

Responsibilities

  • Own overall relationship with assigned clients, which will include ensuring retention and satisfaction.
  • Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned client and drive continued value of our products and services.
  • Identify, develop, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities to meet targets.
  • Lead Intapp pitch / demo sessions with emphasis on key value propositions and product positioning.
  • Acting as a representative to maintain positive relationships with all employees, customers, partners, and shareholders.
  • Work with clients to establish critical goals, or other key performance indicators and aid the customer in achieving their goals.
  • Providing timely and positive resolution of escalated sales-related issues.
  • Communicating with key customers, business partners and executives on significant issues and accomplishments.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of account management / client success experience in software industry or the Private Capital Markets vertical.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Identify, develop and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities to meet targets.
  • Lead Intapp pitch/demo sessions with emphasis on key value propositions and product positioning.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed and grow.
  • Natural leadership skills, and ability to mobilize people towards a goal.
  • Ability to pick up new technologies easily.
  • Good understanding of Excel, financial modeling, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred.
  • Prior experience in closing sales deals at the executive level a plus.
  • Knowledge of the private equity and financial services investment banking market preferred.
