About the position

The Account Manager at Marco Fine Arts will be responsible for managing multiple client accounts, driving sales growth, and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in account management, capable of building and maintaining client relationships while collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations for a diverse portfolio of accounts, ensuring that client needs are met and exceeded.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and across the entire client organization to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Drive incremental sales growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new revenue streams within existing accounts.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, planning, operations, and other divisions, to deliver on client expectations and ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Monitor, track, and report on account performance, providing regular updates to senior management and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Proactively identify and resolve account issues and challenges, ensuring that client concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure seasonal plans meet business objectives by analyzing business performance with the planning team to maximize sales growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in account management or business development, preferably within the art industry.
  • Project Management experience, PMP preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Tenacious, resilient, and persuasive, with the ability to take initiative and drive results independently.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent follow-up, organization, problem-solving, analytical, and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel & PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the manufacturing, on-demand production, or eComm industries.
  • A deep understanding of account management best practices and the ability to apply them effectively.
