About the position

The Account Manager is responsible for delivering high-quality service and managing corporate initiatives for assigned accounts. This role involves strategic selling, relationship building, and collaboration with teams to achieve sales objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales plans and goals designed to increase sales, profit margin and minimize expenses.
• Develop joint business plans and identify new sales opportunities.
• Forecast profit, volume growth and other related goals.
• Assist with the preparation of a sales budget for assigned accounts.
• Analyze sales reporting and create strategies to drive sales.
• Own the specialty sales deployment process and maintain a Joint Business Plan (JBP).
• Create and maintain partnerships with vendors, brokers, and trade partners.
• Conduct regular reviews of sales activities and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years sales experience preferred.
• Understanding and knowledge of products.
• Development and execution of business plans, sales plans, and/or commission programs.
• Familiarity with sales opportunities and sales forecasting techniques.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and company systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
