About The Position

Manages a territory of existing base and target accounts by developing sales strategies to meet retention and growth goals. This role involves managing a portfolio of accounts, understanding client businesses to present a range of services, creating presentations and quotations, developing account plans, and participating in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with top-tier clients. The position also entails managing low-complexity client projects and requests, working with support staff on routine accounts, communicating client goals to promote sales opportunities, and utilizing systems for client data retrieval and CRM tracking. The role requires a minimum of 25% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business, technical field or similar preferred.
  • 0-3 years of sales experience in the hazardous waste industry preferred.
  • Basic technical knowledge of industry and services; heavy reliance on support staff.
  • Baseline prospecting, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Applies Sales Academy concepts with guidance.
  • Ability to work semi independently and with a team
  • Strong team player and self-motivated.
  • Exhibits leadership qualities.
  • Results and detail oriented.
  • Excellent communication and client orientation.
  • Valid driver's license
  • OSHA HAZWOPER, RCRA, DOT

Responsibilities

  • Manages a portfolio of base and target accounts within an assigned territory to meet retention and growth goals.
  • Develops an understanding of a client's business to present a range of services.
  • Creates presentations and quotations for existing and prospective customers; requires support for complex opportunities.
  • Develops account plans and participates in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with top tier clients.
  • Manages low complexity client projects and requests; requires significant support and direction for complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Works with support staff on routine accounts.
  • Communicates client goals and objectives to promote sales opportunities.
  • Engages with KAM team where appropriate.
  • Uses systems for basic client data retrieval.
  • Uses CRM to track business development and relationship details.
  • Other duties as assigned by management
