About the position

As an Account Manager at BEST Inc., you will provide exceptional customer service to clients while managing the entire order lifecycle from receipt to delivery and invoicing. This role requires a proactive approach to customer inquiries and a strong focus on maintaining successful key performance indicators (KPIs). Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via telephone, email, online chat, or in-person providing the highest level of customer support.
  • Become an expert in assigned accounts, understanding clients' market trends, products, and services to effectively answer inquiries.
  • Proactively manage, analyze, monitor, and maintain successful KPIs for all assigned accounts.
  • Resolve customers' problems and concerns by taking appropriate actions.
  • Manage and maintain customer account records, including order status, fulfillment, inventory, and interactions.
  • Partner with warehouse operations, IT, sales, and finance to define customer expectations and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements and other contractual requirements.
  • Oversee the onboarding process of new customers, providing guidance and collecting required information.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams regarding new and current projects.
  • Document and update internal customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on client interactions.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Chinese is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and computerized distribution systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience with 3PL or E-commerce.
