About the position

The position at RK Industries involves facilitating communication between customers and the internal team, ensuring that preconstruction services meet customer requirements, and overseeing project transitions to the Operations Team. The role requires problem identification and solution coordination, as well as the creation of scope summaries and trend timelines. This position is critical for maintaining project clarity and budget adherence, acting as a representative for RK Mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the transfer of information from customers to the RK Industries team.
• Identify possible problems/issues and coordinate solutions.
• Prepare/oversee accurate scope letters.
• Facilitate the transfer of projects to the Operations Team from the Pre-Construction Team.
• Ensure that preconstruction services meet customer requirements.
• Provide direction to the Construction/Design team (internal & external).
• Create scope summaries that clearly define project pricing and responsibilities.
• Create an accurate trend timeline & pricing that defines accepted/pending/declined trends for the project.
• Explain and define pricing and scope to clients.
• Act as the RK Mechanical representative to ensure clear understanding & transfer of up-to-date information.
• Offer solutions and gather information to keep the project scope clear and within budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 15+ years of extensive relevant experience in the field.
• Masters or college/university graduate or equivalent combination of skills and experience generally required.
• Ability to negotiate critical and controversial issues with top-level employees and officers.
• Demonstrated high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning and organizing extensive programs.
• Experience managing autonomous individuals, managers, and diverse groups.
