About the position

NBCU Local Sacramento is looking for an experienced account executive who approaches each day with a desire to uphold our commitment to supporting our local business community. Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and own client direct and agency relationships through day-to-day interaction
• Create customized solutions for clients that will demonstrate the power of the NBCUniversal Local, NBC & Telemundo Stations Group and NBC Regional Sports Networks (specifically the Sacramento Kings and Athletics properties)
• This role requires effective lead generation, client outreach, ascertainment and presentation skills - offering integrated marketing and non-linear platform solutions to meet revenue goals
• Develop new business revenue by focusing on 'conversion' targets from competitive media including radio, print, digital, out of home, cable, events, etc.
• Demonstrate a commitment to consultative sales in service of client goals and revenue attainment
• Manage multi-market opportunities, engaging with key stakeholders across the broader organization
• Embrace and effectively communicate the value of the Hispanic marketplace - positioning the benefits of investing across our linear and digital Telemundo properties
• Commit to long-term business development approach - consistently engaging in business research and professional development
• Demonstrate team mindset, working with colleagues across the business to advance each other's goals and prospects

Requirements

• Agency, television, production, creative marketing and/or other brand entertainment experience is preferred
• Solutions-oriented thinker with the ability to quickly understand and assess opportunities and/or problems and be able to respond with creative ideas and solutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• Knowledge of Sacramento DMA a plus
