About the position

Berlin Packaging is seeking a Packaging Consultant (Account Executive) who will maximize sales and profitability through prospecting, business retention, and account development. The ideal candidate will be located near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role involves identifying and developing new customers, maintaining existing business, and collaborating with various internal teams to complete complex sales transactions. The candidate will also be responsible for establishing effective supplier relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, secure, and develop new customers to build and grow a book of business via consultative selling.
  • Maintain existing business through the utilization of Berlin's sales tools and resources.
  • Maximize sales and profitability through new and existing product offerings.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to complete complex sales transactions.
  • Develop effective working relationships with customers and ensure contractual terms are met.
  • Establish effective supplier relationships and product knowledge.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other marketing tools effectively to win business.
  • Support branch metrics and fulfill employee portion of the 'Berlin Values'.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline strongly preferred or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of successful consultative B2B sales and prospecting experience.
  • Strong focus on customer needs with a merchant mentality and attention to detail.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a thirst for continuous knowledge and growth.
  • Ability to articulate Berlin Packaging's value proposition, products, services, customers, and suppliers.
  • Effective partnership with internal teams to develop new accounts and retain existing business.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and independent with creativity, passion, and competitiveness.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • MS Office and Salesforce CRM experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel.
