About the position

The Account Executive (AE) at Traditions Health is responsible for achieving financial goals through the implementation of marketing and sales strategies within the assigned territory. This role focuses on promoting Traditions' services to skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, senior living facilities, and senior communities. The AE will also engage in educational activities with various stakeholders to communicate the value of Traditions' offerings, while collaborating with sales and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed territory admission goals.
  • Meet short- and long-term target account goals.
  • Develop relationships with key facility accounts and service these accounts legally and compliantly.
  • Make sufficient sales calls to meet with 8-10 decision makers per day.
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge to effectively present Traditions' values and expertise.
  • Partner with the clinical team to provide the highest level of service and support to patients and referral sources.
  • Educate referral sources on the components of the company's services.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of quarterly Strategic Business Plans and maintain target lists.
  • Prioritize accounts according to the market sales plan.
  • Develop networking relationships in the community.
  • Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Document sales calls and maintain accurate records in CRM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
  • 1-2 years of healthcare-specific outside sales experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of outside sales experience preferred or considerable transferable experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective technical selling skills and good presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and expand relationships with diverse referral sources.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and creating territory sales plans.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hospice or home health care sales.
