About the position

The Account Executive at Performance Systems Integration (PSI) is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth by prospecting for new customers and expanding relationships with existing clients in the Fire & Life Safety industry. This role involves managing customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction, and executing a proactive sales strategy to meet and exceed sales quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new logos consistently and explore cross-sell/upsell opportunities with current customers.
  • Convert prospects into customers and retain and expand the customer base.
  • Act as the primary contact and advocate for existing customers within the territory.
  • Collaborate with Operations to maintain customer satisfaction standards.
  • Manage account retention and renewal to maintain territory ITM revenue base.
  • Accountable for retention, cross-sell, and upsell in assigned PSI customers.
  • Manage customer revenue building activities and sales opportunity pipeline using the PSI Opportunity Engage.
  • Understand customer needs and meet them where they are in their journey.
  • Execute a high-impact, high-velocity, and proactive sales approach supported by market development and demand generation strategy.
  • Develop and lead a go-to-market strategy targeting enterprise-level customers and prospects.
  • Lead efforts to accelerate customer acquisition by leveraging PSI's differentiated value-adds.
  • Estimate fire alarm system installations in both retrofit and new construction environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive, proven sales experience.
  • Recent senior-level sales executive experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of cultivating target accounts and driving recurring service contract revenue.
  • Experience executing sales process best practices with a comprehensive commercial selling skillset.
  • Fire and life safety industry experience is highly desirable.
