About the position

The Account Executive - AHH at Ethicon US LLC is responsible for driving sales of surgical solutions within the hemostasis and wound closure platforms. This role involves engaging with surgeons and hospital decision-makers primarily in operating room settings, managing a designated sales territory, and achieving sales forecasts. The position requires a strong understanding of product usage and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on growing hemostasis and wound closure platforms.
  • Sell surgical solutions to surgeons and hospital decision makers in an operating room setting.
  • Manage a sales territory focusing on assigned physicians and hospital institutions.
  • Attain the sales forecast in assigned accounts/territory.
  • Set priorities and make sound business decisions based on sales opportunities within accounts.
  • Demonstrate proper use of products to clinicians in the Operating Room environment.
  • Manage customer questions and objections consistent with product indications and sales training methodology.
  • Execute the selling cycle concisely, professionally, ethically, and within healthcare compliance guidelines.
  • Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods learned in sales training courses.
  • Analyze data and stay updated about market information for business planning.
  • Build excellent customer relations with key physicians, hospital personnel, and authorized distributors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of relevant business experience in medical sales (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology) or healthcare, demonstrating exceptional achievement of sales objectives
  • A valid driver's license issued in the United States.
