The Academic Program Specialist is most students' and visitors' first point of contact to the Department. The Academic Program Specialist provides critical information and support to help promote the Department and ensure smooth operation of its core functions. They independently coordinate a variety of operational tasks involved in the day-to-day administration of the Department of History. Key responsibilities include tasks supporting faculty promotion and tenure, student admissions and registration, and program marketing and publicity.
