About the position
The University of California, Davis is seeking a full-time faculty member in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank in Gastroenterology. This position focuses on providing exceptional general gastroenterology care and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The successful candidate will engage in clinical consultation and endoscopy services, while also supervising and educating trainees in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding general gastroenterology care.
- Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Conduct gastroenterology consultations and endoscopy services at ambulatory sites.
- Deliver lectures to various audiences.
- Engage in scholarly or creative activities and university/public service.
Requirements
- M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree.
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.
- Strong clinical skills and interest in Gastroenterology.
- Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology by the start date.
- Medical licensure or eligibility for licensure in California.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship or equivalent experience.
