As an ABMS Senior Network Administrator at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS), which is essential for the Department of Defense's command and control operations. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and support the organization's network infrastructure.
• Develop scalable and robust network solutions to meet organizational needs.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions for optimal performance.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to maintain efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance to IT staff and end users on network-related issues.
• Develop and implement network security policies and procedures.
• Configure and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Implement and manage security measures such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science.
• 8+ years of related experience in network administration.
• Technical skills in Cisco switches, IP Address Management, network security, and patch management.
• IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security +) in accordance with DoD 8140.01M.
• Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
