About the position

The A&D Sales Account Manager for Architectural Surfaces Group is responsible for driving sales growth by building and nurturing relationships with architects and designers. This role focuses on promoting premium interior design products and solutions, increasing product specifications, and driving sales revenue within the A&D community.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Conduct product knowledge presentations, library updates, and events at showroom locations.
  • Provide specification documents, budgetary pricing, and sample deliveries to the design community.
  • Visit customers and job sites to provide product support and technical expertise.
  • Participate in local trade associations and maintain relationships with subcontractors and fabricators.
  • Coordinate marketing materials needed for the territory.
  • Develop and execute strategies for account growth, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Set and achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and possess in-depth product knowledge.
  • Effectively communicate and present proposals and solutions to clients.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contractual agreements with clients.
  • Analyze client data and market trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance and growth strategies.
  • Document and maintain project and sales activities in the company CRM system.
  • Identify challenges within client accounts and develop creative solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related industry preferred.
  • Sales experience in architectural, design, or construction industries.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
