About the position

BLOSSMAN GAS & APPLIANCE, INC seeks a dynamic Outside Salesperson for our growing Asheville-Hickory, NC market area. This opportunity specializes primarily in the sales of propane products for commercial purposes, with some residential sales included. Blossman Gas is America's largest independent propane company, with more than 80 retail locations in 12 states. The selected Outside Sales representative will focus on promoting and closing sales of propane to prospective commercial customers, while also engaging in some residential sales. Regular collaboration with business owners and key decision makers is essential, along with producing regular sales reports and maintaining communication with the local store and the national sales manager. Strong prospecting and cold calling skills are necessary for success in this role. Prior outside sales experience is required, but ongoing product and sales training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Promote and close sales of propane products to commercial customers
• Engage in some residential sales as needed
• Collaborate regularly with business owners and key decision makers
• Produce regular sales reports
• Communicate regularly with the local store and national sales manager
• Utilize strong prospecting and cold calling skills

Requirements

• 10 years of outside sales experience
• High School diploma or better
• Driver's License
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate)
• Advanced customer service skills
• Advanced outside sales experience
