About the position
The Math Teacher will be responsible for teaching the math curriculum, which includes general math, pre-algebra, algebra, and math applications. The teacher will plan, conduct, and assess the effectiveness of math lessons for all students, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed in their mathematical studies.
Responsibilities
- Teach the math curriculum including general math, pre-algebra, and algebra.
- Plan and conduct math lessons for students.
- Assess the effectiveness of math lessons and make necessary adjustments.
- Support students in their understanding of math applications.
Requirements
- Must hold a current Indiana License/Certification in Mathematics.
- Must be Highly Qualified as per state standards.
- Experience teaching varying levels of Math courses is preferred.
- Candidate must not have had a recommendation for Probation Assistance on their most recent evaluation.
Nice-to-haves
- A Masters Degree or higher is preferred.
