About the position
LakePoint El Dorado is seeking a dedicated nightshift LPN or RN to provide essential nursing care to residents. This full-time position involves collaborating with a healthcare team to develop care plans, advocating for residents, and ensuring compliance with care standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with their care plan
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Act as resident advocate in medical/social situations
- Complete shift reports
- Communicate resident needs and condition changes
- Supervise direct care staff and monitor the effective delivery of services to residents
- Complete continuing education courses and competencies as assigned
- Adhere to all care standards and state and local regulations
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) certification
- Experience in nursing care
- Ability to collaborate with healthcare teams
- Strong communication skills
- Supervisory skills
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in long-term care settings
- BLS certification
