About the position

The 3rd Shift Picker & Packer position at Shiseido Americas Distribution Center is a full-time role focused on efficiently picking and packing orders within the warehouse. This position is crucial for maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency for both internal and external customers. The Picker & Packer will be responsible for meeting deadlines and goals set by the department supervisor, ensuring that accurate quantities of products are picked by comparing documentation and matching product identification numbers. Any discrepancies must be questioned and resolved promptly to maintain operational integrity. In addition to picking and packing, the role requires maintaining a clean and orderly working environment. The Picker & Packer will also be responsible for the upkeep of all RF equipment, computers, printers, and any other company equipment used to complete work assignments. Collaboration with other employees and departments is essential to achieve common goals and objectives. The Picker & Packer may also provide support during physical inventories of the warehouse and may be asked to work in other departments to support business needs and complete additional duties as assigned. This position requires flexibility, as the Picker & Packer may need to work overtime or on select weekends, with advanced notice provided. The role is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality in their work.

Responsibilities

  • Meets deadlines and goals as established by the department supervisor.
  • Ensures accurate quantities of products are picked by comparing the appropriate documentation and matching product identification numbers.
  • Questions and resolves discrepancies in product identification.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly working environment.
  • Maintains all RF equipment, computers, printers, and any other company equipment used to complete work assignments.
  • Works collaboratively with other employees and departments toward common goals and objectives.
  • Provides support during Physical Inventories of the warehouse.
  • May be asked to work in other departments to support business needs and complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic reading, writing, math and English language skills required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with WMS, RF, and related distribution center technology.
  • Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch on a concrete floor.
  • Ability to lift, lower, and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as an extended shift or on select weekends.
