About the position
The 3rd Shift Machine Operator is responsible for operating robotic lines to manufacture high-quality horseshoes efficiently and cost-effectively. The role emphasizes adherence to safety and operational procedures while ensuring product quality and engaging with co-workers to contribute to organizational success.
Responsibilities
- Operate production line equipment properly, following all safety and SOP regulations and procedures, including Mustad Performance Systems (MPS).
- Monitor and adjust the production line regarding heat, speed, quality specifications, and cleanliness, including disposal of production debris.
- Perform steel changes, die, or other component changes in the least disruptive manner.
- Ensure the production of quality products by regularly inspecting horseshoes for adherence to quality, appearance, and usage requirements according to internal protocols.
- Maintain documentation including written records and ERP functions as required or requested.
- Provide other support as requested and needed.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write and speak English at a basic level.
- Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot for process improvement.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice-to-haves

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with machine operation.
Benefits
- $2,000 bonus ($1,000 after 90 days and $1,000 after 1 year).
- 2nd shift differential of $3.25.
