About the position
As a Full-Time Warehouse Associate at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position requires you to select and receive incoming stock to effectively fulfill orders received from stores. You will be responsible for relocating merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines, sorting, organizing, and loading merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment, as well as unloading incoming shipments from trucks and back-hauls. Your role will also involve performing general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements, participating in warehouse inventory counts, and cooperating with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information. In addition to these responsibilities, you will provide input to warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes, inspect products, and consult with management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues. You will be expected to act and decide independently within your delegated area of responsibility and assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals. All assigned tasks must be performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and procedures. You will also follow ergonomic programs according to established procedures and operate equipment according to safety guidelines in the performance of essential job functions. This position requires a commitment to quality, product integrity, and safety, as well as a collaborative working environment with peers and supervisors.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Skill of performing basic arithmetic equations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
