About the position
The position is for a teaching role at Shugart Elementary School for the 2025 - 2026 academic year. The selected candidate will be responsible for educating elementary students and will be expected to fulfill the duties associated with this role over a period of 187 duty days. The position is set to begin in Fall 2025.
Responsibilities
- Educate elementary students in a self-contained classroom setting.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification with required endorsements.
- Bilingual Generalist - Spanish Elementary Self-Contained endorsement or equivalent.
