About the position
The 2nd Shift Temp Shipper/Receiver position involves performing various duties related to the distribution of products within a manufacturing environment. The role requires following established procedures under supervision, operating forklifts and other equipment, and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials. This temporary position is essential for maintaining production schedules and supporting overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Unload ingredients and containers off trucks and move them to production areas as required by the production schedule.
- Unload/load finished products by picking orders, accurately meeting a case/hour requirement.
- Lift 50 lb. bags occasionally and 15-25 lb. cases on a continuous basis.
- Put finished products away from production on a timely basis.
- Perform plant services duties such as sweeping and cleaning.
- Follow safety work rules and complete job tasks in a safe manner at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- No prior experience is required.
