About the position
This position requires a valid NJ DOE Teaching Certificate or NJ Substitute Teacher Certificate, along with 30 college credits, which will need to be verified through official transcripts. The role involves working closely with the Varsity Coach and contributing to the development of a positive team culture and climate.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of the sport and utilizes best practices to teach skills and strategies
- Up-to-date on Mandatory Trainings - First Aid, CPR, Concussion, Heat-Illness Prevention, Fundamentals of Coaching and GCN
- Develop a positive team culture and climate
- Assisting the Varsity Coach with various responsibilities
- Liaising with schools administration and faculty members
- Communicating with families, Booster Club, Community Groups and Feeder Programs
Requirements
- Valid NJ DOE Teaching Certificate or NJ Substitute Teacher Certificate required
- 30 College credits required (will be asked to provide official transcripts)
