About the position
The Systems Engineer position at B4Corp is a critical role focused on providing enterprise computing engineering services, particularly in the realm of cyber security. The role requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph and involves assessing, analyzing, and implementing information assurance and security engineering systems. The engineer will work closely with systems architects and engineers to ensure the security of systems throughout their lifecycle, making it a challenging yet rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess, analyze and implement information assurance and security engineering systems.
- Define requirements for business continuity, operations security, regulatory compliance, and internal counter-espionage.
- Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle.
- Validate system security requirements definition and analysis.
- Implement and validate security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures.
- Work with Systems Architects and Engineers to resolve controls and POAMs and update the customer's A&A system.
- Conduct system security scans.
Requirements
- Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph.
- Experience in conducting scans and assessing threats.
- Ability to communicate effectively with ISSMs on project A&A activities.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) on iterative development projects.
- Knowledge of Agile development principles.
- Microsoft AZURE and/or Amazon certifications related to cloud design, implementation, and configuration.
