About the position
The IT Summer Intern program at Equitable offers college students a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in various areas of Information Technology. Interns will work on real projects, develop their skills, and build relationships within the organization, potentially leading to a full-time position after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with department-wide initiatives and projects
- Support project teams in completing assigned tasks by deadlines
- Engage in data analysis, software development, and unit testing
- Collaborate with peers in a matrix organization
- Prepare and deliver an executive presentation as part of the internship experience
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Management Information Systems, or Mathematics
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Technical skills in Java and Python
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work full-time during the internship period
