About the position

The IT Summer Intern program at Equitable offers college students a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in various areas of Information Technology. Interns will work on real projects, develop their skills, and build relationships within the organization, potentially leading to a full-time position after graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with department-wide initiatives and projects
  • Support project teams in completing assigned tasks by deadlines
  • Engage in data analysis, software development, and unit testing
  • Collaborate with peers in a matrix organization
  • Prepare and deliver an executive presentation as part of the internship experience

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Management Information Systems, or Mathematics
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Technical skills in Java and Python
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work full-time during the internship period
