About The Position

The Structured Finance Internship at KeyCorp is a 10.5-week program designed for undergraduate students to gain meaningful work experience in the Specialty Finance Lending (SFL) group. Interns will engage in projects that directly impact Key's business, receive coaching and feedback, and participate in networking events. The program aims to prepare interns for potential full-time careers at Key post-college, with opportunities for part-time work during the school year.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate student in business, economics, or a related field, graduating December 2025 or later.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Minimum GPA of 3.3.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities.
• Strong analytical, insight generation, decision-making, and logic skills.
• Eligibility to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Analyze structured finance loan facilities and cash management structures.
• Provide portfolio data and spreadsheet analytics.
• Assist the Account Management Team with pre- and post-closing activities.
• Participate in communications to clients and lenders.
