About the position

The Englewood Public School District is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 2025-2026 winter sports season at Dwight Morrow High School. This position involves assisting in the management and supervision of wrestling activities, providing effective coaching, and ensuring a positive athletic experience for student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise athletic activities
• Provide effective coaching to student-athletes
• Assist in the organization of wrestling practices and competitions
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Implement wrestling techniques and strategies

Requirements

• NJ Certification: Teaching Certification or Substitute Certification
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Knowledge of basic software applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective coaching skills
• Knowledge of wrestling techniques
