About the position
The Substitute Teacher - Non-Certified position involves the ability and demonstrated aptitude in the instruction of students in the assigned area. The role requires following verbal and written instructions and knowledge of general office equipment. The candidate must be physically capable of meeting all performance responsibilities required with students, including stooping, bending, and lifting.
Responsibilities
- Replace the absent teacher in the instruction of students and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction.
- Work under the general supervision of the principal or assistant principal.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 60 hours of college credits

- College degree and teacher certification preferred
