The 1st Shift Temp GSW position at Campbell Soup Company involves performing various production and plant service duties under supervision. The role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and quality in the production process, including palletizing finished products and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Palletizing 20-30 lb. finished cases and monitoring case counts.
• Ensuring case quality during production processes.
• Operating tow motors safely at the tote station and maintaining weight and quality information.
• Filling in for call-offs, leaves, vacations, and absences in designated departments.
• Performing duties as a mixer, scaler/relief, depositor operator, and laminator operator when scheduled in the Production Department.
• Working in Plant Services on weekends and during the week as necessary.
• Fulfilling job duties in Distribution on a fill-in basis.
• Becoming a trained back-up in other operator positions.
• Following safety work rules and completing tasks safely.
• Maintaining good housekeeping practices according to 5S standards.
• Assisting with rework functions as needed.
• Using SAP as required and following approved procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
