About the position
The position of Forklift and Double Pallet Jack Operator involves working in a warehouse environment where the primary responsibility is to operate forklifts and double pallet jacks to move packages and materials efficiently and safely. The operator will be required to adhere to safety protocols while ensuring that all materials are handled with care. The role is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods within the facility, ensuring that products are stored and shipped correctly. The operator will work on a rotating shift schedule, which includes weekends as needed, and will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. The first week of the schedule includes working Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 am to 7 pm, while the second week consists of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during the same hours. This position requires a responsible individual with a strong background in operating industrial vehicles, particularly forklifts, to ensure that all operations are conducted efficiently and safely. The operator will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, complying with company policies, and reporting any damages or shortages in materials.
Responsibilities
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
- Ability to commute to Gainesville, GA.

- 1 year of experience operating a forklift (preferred).
